Texas 4-H curre
ntly receives several hundred thousand dollars in program support and over $2 million in scholarship funding annually from the efforts of the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation. The Texas 4-H Foundation plans to significantly increase that effort as new private industry supporters are identified and brought on board throughout the state. The Texas 4-H Foundation invites all Texans to consider joining them in their efforts to increase the impact that 4-H is having on the young people of this state.
Texas 4-H provides educational support and local programs necessary for training in:
- character building
- leadership development
- problem-solving and decision making skills
- team building and social interaction
- life skills, leadership and community service development
