Meet the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation Staff!

Sarah Hamm

Executive Director

Growing up in a small West Texas town, 4-H played a big role in Sarah’s life. She parlayed the lessons learned into leadership roles at Texas A&M University then into a 14-year career as a legislative liaison on the federal and state level. Now as executive director of Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation, Sarah strives to enhance the lives of Texas young people by building the vibrant fundraising organization that supports Texas 4-H.

Megan Chernosky, CPA

Senior Financial Accountant

Megan is responsible for all financial aspects of the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation. Upon graduating with Master of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting at Texas A&M University, Megan spent 4 years in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche. Most recently, Megan served as the Chief Financial Officer of a Houston based golf course management company. Growing up showing livestock for 10 years as a Texas 4-Her, Megan has seen firsthand the impacts made by 4-H, and enjoys being a part of helping develop the lives of young people across the state.

Darin Paine

Senior Director of Development - Corporate Relations

Darin brings over a decade of development experience to the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication and Multimedia from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Agricultural Leadership at Texas A&M University.  Darin is a 4-H parent with a passion for youth development, education and a love of the outdoors.  He also serves in the Texas Air National Guard.

Laura Windwehen

Donor Relations Coordinator

Laura has always had a passion for helping youth. She followed that passion pursuing a Public Health degree after completing her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M. After six years in the public health and social service arena, she found that the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation allowed her to return her focus on youth. Laura enjoys working for an organization that promotes youth development knowing that what she helps do on a daily basis is improving the life of a child.

Samantha Klein

Administrative Assistant & Scholarship Coordinator

Samantha is the newest member to the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Since then, she has served in several administrative roles in both the public and private sectors and has enjoyed making life easier – and more fun – for communities, organizations, and individuals. Samantha is excited to be working in an environment where she can see the tangible impact she’s having on the lives of 4-Hers. When she’s not in the office you will likely find her with friends and family, baking in the kitchen, traveling near and far, or enjoying the outdoors with her dog.
